4th Golf Indoor Polish Championship

The 4th Golf Indoor Polish Championship – our fourth nationwide indoor tournament – has come to a close. This time, the competition spanned over four months.

A significant change compared to previous editions was the number of rounds available to play. Players competed on a variety of prestigious courses, including Fields Ranch West, PGA Frisco, Yellowstone Club, and the Eagle Course at Wohali in the USA; GKG Golf Club in Iceland; HLGC Hittfield in Germany; and finally, the Gloria Golf Resort in Turkey—a complex familiar to many golfers from their own travels. The final classification was based on the 4 best results out of 6 rounds.

The competition was held in Gross (best overall score) and Net (using half handicap) categories, as well as a Professional category.

Pro Category

Among the Professionals, Kamil Tatarczuk achieved the lowest result with 260 strokes (which was also the lowest overall score of the tournament). The battle for second place was incredibly tight, with Grzegorz Zieliński finishing just one stroke ahead of Jakub Tryniecki.

Amateur Results

Gross Classification: Kamil Nowak became the top amateur with a total of 268 strokes, defeating runner-up Hubert Tomczyk by three strokes and Franek Dudek by four.
Men’s Net (0-20 HCP): Cezary Kaczmarek took first place. Second place went to Hubert Tomczyk, who finished with the same score as Przemysław Giel, but won the position via a countback.
Men’s Net (20.1-54 HCP): Patryk Mazurkiewicz triumphed, followed by Tomasz Mroczkowski in 2nd and Andrzej Dąbrowski in 3rd.
Ladies’ Net (0-20 HCP): Danuta Rekowska emerged victorious.
Ladies’ Net (20.1-54 HCP): Galina Mroczkowska took 1st place, with Monika Przybysz in 2nd and Sylwia Lorych in 3rd.

Participation

Nearly 30 venues across Poland participated in the tournament, and over 100 players signed up for the challenge, although not all managed to complete all the required rounds.
